Drumwound Type with Counterweight

With easy installation for the systematic functioning of your business, the Drumwound Type with Counterweight range of Chain elevators' movement depends on the coiling and the uncoiling of a wire rope on the main rotating drum. Equipped with two ropes that are coiled separately on the left and the right thread grooves, this type of Chain elevator puts lesser pressure on the rope, thus ensuring a long life for your heavy loaded lift.

Traction Type with Counterweight

In this range of Chain elevators, the Traction Type with Counterweight is the popular choice. This traction type is equipped with 3 or more independent ropes that have been stretched across the main traction sheave. With no positive coiling in the machines and lifts, a safer transport is ensured because whenever a slip is permitted, there is an obstruction of the lift ravel. This feature provides greater safety as compared to other lifts because it does not pressurize the motors at the time of overshooting at the top floors. The efficient use of a 2:1 roping system provides with smooth travel in traction lifts. These lifts travel at higher speeds than the Drumwound.
